4th National Assembly of EMSA
From the 12th-14th of April, 2019, the European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA) Ukraine, held its 4th National Assembly titled, “Beyond Classrooms: The making of an excellent doctor”. here at our great university, VNMU. The conference featured keynote speakers from our university and from other cities in Ukraine. It also featured medical practical skills such as vaginal and cervical examination, approach to the patients with pre-eclampsia and eclampsia based on the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), bowel anastomosis using automatic compression anastomosis ring and basic suturing skills, Advanced Life support (intubation techniques and publishing a medical research. Participants took part in soft skills training that prepare people for life such as critical thinking, Mindfulness, Doctor-patient interaction. The conference also included social events such as a Gala and a night party and many other fun events. Special thanks to the rector of university prof. Moroz V.V., the vice rector prof. Vlasenko O.V. and the vice rector as. prof. Zaika S.V. for their support.
