ALGORITHM OF ACTIONS FOR FOREIGN PERSONS CROSSING THE STATE BORDER OF UKRAINE FOR STUDYING
| The algorithm was developed on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 392 (as amended) dated 20.05.2020. |
- Before departure, an applicant / senior student must purchase a COVID-19 insurance policy from insurance companies registered in Ukraine or from companies that have representative offices in Ukraine (Assistance).
NB !!! It is possible to purchase insurance directly at the airport.
- When crossing the state border of Ukraine, the applicant / senior student must download the “Act at Home” application to the phone.
When filling in the declaration, you must indicate the number of the Ukrainian mobile operator and the exact address of the place of self-isolation
NB !!! The application works exclusively on Ukrainian mobile operators. Therefore, an applicant / senior student must contact the person who helped to draw up the documents in order click here to purchase a starter package from a Ukrainian operator and provide the number.
- he applicant / senior student is given 24 hours to arrive at the place of self-isolation.
- Self-isolation lasts 14 days. It is controlled by the “Act at Home” program (ID photos, geotags, test calls and police visits).
- There is an algorithm for early termination of self-isolation, if a person makes a PCR test.
- the test must be done only in certified laboratories (https://phc.org.ua/news/algoritm-pripinennya-samoizolyacii-dlya-osib-scho-peretnuli-derzhavniy-kordon or get the information from persons who helped to draw up the documents); the price is about 1500 UAH. (60 USD).
- when filling in the data for the PCR test in the laboratory, the applicant / senior student must present a passport and a phone number on which the “Act at Home” application is installed.
- In case of a negative result, the laboratory itself sends the results to the “Act at Home” program and the program grants permission for early termination of self-isolation.
NB !!! Self-isolation MUST NOT be terminated before receiving permission from the “Act at Home” program.

How to get ready to PCR test
It is better to make the test in the morning after night sleeping
It is not recommended
6 hours prior the test – do not use medicines to rinse the larynx; – do not apply medicines for solving in the oral cavity;
3-4 hours prior the test – to not chew the gum, sweets;
- do not clean teeth, gargle;
- do not eat or drink;
- do not smoke
